With The Black Velvet Band's new band lineup, we continue to add even more songs to our extensive and diverse repertoire. We boast almost 200 Irish songs and over 180 American tunes on our play list - over 10 hours of possible music.
You can enjoy all types of Irish music - ballads, rebel songs, pub tunes, traditional and caeli, polkas, waltzes, foxtrots, jives, and set dances. After all, we are Boston's premier Irish Show Band.
The Black Velvet Band offers much more than most Irish bands by delivering a great mix of popular music. From Sinatra to Springsteen to Smashmouth, Elvis to Eagles to Ed Sheeran, music from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and today, even some classic and current Country music.
You won't find many local bands who can offer such a mix of entertainment!

We want our audience to be part of each occasion - to dance, to sing, to make requests, to remember a fun event. We therefore tailor our music at each event to make sure there's something for everyone.
